Nestled right at the base of the Catalina Mountains, this upscale outdoor mall is a stunning spot to spend a few hours. While you’ll want a healthy budget to shop at stores like Anthropologie, Vuori, Lululemon, Tiffany, Coach, and Eileen Fisher, simply walking through the grounds is a treat in itself. The restaurants are all gorgeous and offer excellent outdoor dining to take in the views. True Food Kitchen and North Italia are our personal favorites for a sit-down meal. Whether you’re stopping by for an early morning coffee from haute coffee or finishing an evening with some ice cream from Frost Gelato, the atmosphere is perfect.Pro Tip: If you want a refreshing drink that won't break the bank, AJ’s Fine Foods is just steps away. Grab one of their famous iced teas and enjoy a stroll through the courtyards!

Mostly the same stores people have at home, so not really a travel destination. But it is an attractive place in a pretty location.

Matthew the manager was extremely aggressive, he got into my face and he spoke angrily to me when I was just trying to change my appointment from sales to tech and had been waiting already a half an hour past my appointment. I was speaking calmly and clearly, I did not deserve the hostile way he treated me.

We have been to the Park Place Mall twice recently, and even, went to the movies there. Everything seemed to be returning to normal, as the pandemic is, definitely, winding down.La Encantada is about an hour's drive for us, but yesterday (2/12) was such a gorgeous day, that we decided to drive over there. As it is such a pleasant outdoor mall, it is nice strolling in that atmosphere. I guess we should have gone to the indoor Park Place Mall, if we were looking for pleasant. At La Encantada, shop after shop had an unfriendly No Mask, No Entry sign on their door or window. One stated that Pima County Law mandated that everyone wear a mask in an indoor area.Hard to understand why Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma were not following the law, as they had their doors wide open (on this beautiful day), and no such requirements. In fact, we live in Pima County, and we can shop every store in our area, and at the indoor Park Place Mall without being ordered to wear a mask. I can understand the Apple Store, as there were about 30-40 people packed inside, and social distancing was not possible. But, these other stores, with not one customer inside, demanding masks, is something else. Just felt very unfriendly, foreboding, and, actually, more unsafe than elsewhere. We still had a nice stroll, and a lovely lunch. Sad to see that Papyrus has closed, and now, there is a Candle Shop in its place.
