For Halloween the production is a drag queen tribute to the 1993 movie 'Hocus Pocus'. It's entitled It's just a bunch of 'Hocus Pocus'. 7pm Oct 31. $65. I enjoyed on Oct. 30.

I attended the Kelsey Theater for the first time for one night on May 5,2018. I attended this event with a group of friends that live in Florida that shares a coomon bond and love for Red Wanting Blure and for music. The tickets are pretty cheap and affordable enough to bring your whole entire family. They sell snacks and non-alcoholic drinks inside of the Kelsey Theater. They provide free parking for their customers. The manager,the workers, and the security guards provide excellent and courteous service to their entertainers and musicians and to their customers. I would recommend customers bring and carry their own folding chairs because this theater is standing room only. I will gladly and proudly attend the Kelsey Theater again in the near future. I attended a rock concert by the rock band called Red Wanting Blue. This rock band is from Ohio. I also heard and saw Anthony D'Amato perform that same night. He is an excellent singer and performer.

So being a child from the 80's... I grew up going to the grove in Miami to watch the midnight showing of Rocky Horror.... where everyone went dressed up, no exceptions! Unfortunately that was not the case here because our group was pretty much the only ones in costume...but shame on the other patrons! The venue itself is great. The front row of the theater is couches... great to be fully immersed in the production literally steps away. While you are waiting 11ththere is a concession stand which has several options and popcorn made with coconut oil giving it a light taste and several topping to pick from as well. Inside... a bar with beer, wine and wine based liquor ( basically less calories, less proof liquor ), I personally would stick with a beer or wine myself. The organizers did a great job of getting everyone into the show prior to three beginning and the house shadow cast was AMAZING, great group... too many favorites to mention. They put on lots of different events at venue so it is worth checking out the calendar. Among other things .... I will be back for Rocky!
