Over the years, I’ve sat with leaders, business owners, exhausted caregivers, strong men, strong women — people who learned how to survive responsibility and keep moving no matter what life asked of them. Many of them spent years being “the capable one.” The dependable one. The one everyone leaned on. But underneath that strength was often emotional exhaustion, disconnection, loneliness, or the quiet feeling that life no longer felt as alive as it once did.
