Reviews
tripadvisorThe hotel is located just off of the Midlothian TrailThe front desk staff were friendly and helpfulThe room had all of the standard amenities; the bed was comfortableThe free buffet breakfast was goodOur room was in a building that was detached from the main lobbyOur only complaint was that the detached building didn't have an elevator; those who require ADA accommodations and/or would struggle to carry their luggage up a flight of steps should consider this before booking a room.Overall a good experience
MoreGreat value. Reasonably priced. Clean rooms. Good breakfast selection. Keep up the good work!
MoreI was stuck in Bon Air because I am an essential worker at the juvenile correction center. I could not get home and back after the snow and ice came. The staff here helped me walk, park, took care of every need I had. I just had to go to work and back. I am almost 68 and my family were so afraid I would fall, but a gentleman on staff walked me back and forth, unloaded my car, generally became my strength on this awful ice. The entire staff was caring and helpful. I will recommend this hotel anytime!
MoreThe property was so run down and felt so unsafe that we did not check in. Would not recommend. Did not even feel safe driving to the back of a unmaintained building. Lot needs paving, trash needs to be picked up, building needs some maintenance.
MoreInitially, I found my stay extremely comfortable. Everything was clean. I initially only wanted to stay one day but extended it for two days and it was no problem with the front desk. The evening of my second night there I experienced some itching, mind you I work at nights and I only slept there during the daytime. While at work, that’s when I experienced the itchy. I had my clothes on, so I didn’t think anything, and didn’t check myself the afternoon of the following day after taking my shower once I arrived home I found dime size and nickel size, red itchy, and swollen lumps on my décolleté, neck and stomach. Confused on what it could be, I took pictures and sent them to my sister, which is a CNA and other family members. Using Google also. Come to find out they were bedbug bites. I called the one 800 number for the hotel and they insured me that they would have someone search the room, but by then I’m sure that the bedding had been changed. Customer service also insured me that someone will call me in a few days after they supposedly was going to fumigate the room. I have not heard from anyone I called again, not only to share my grief of my pain and suffering, but also to inquire about my deposit of $112 that I have yet to receive. It is now been three weeks. I have not heard back from anyone nor have I received my deposit the days that I suffered with those bite marks were excruciating, unable to sleep for at least three of those nights after and I still have the marks on my body, which I’m not sure they’ll ever go away. I’m not one to raise a fuss, but I am appalled at how they disregarded how I felt and what happened to me. Customer service insured me that this has never happened in their hotel and they don’t think that it was anything there, but I have proof. I have pictures and that room was the only place I stayed. I am hurt at the fact that they just disregarded what happened to me, not even as much as an apology or a follow up phone call.
