This was a great way to see Seattle from the water and learn more about the city!

We took the 1.5-hour tour of Lake Union, and had a great time. Captain Derek couldn't have been nicer. It's obvious that he really likes his work. He showed us floating homes and houseboats (and taught us the difference between the two), gave us some Seattle history, and answered whatever questions we asked. We got to see a unique view of the city, and had a great time on the boat. I definitely recommend any of his tours, but make sure you take a jacket or sweater, as it can be cooler on the water.

Captain Derek sailed us through the most lovely day for our group of girlfriends. He provided the space for us to lounge, laugh, dance, and learn about Seattle, Lake Union, and Lake Washington. He was super chill, funny, and confident about sailing...he put us to ease immediately with his friendly personality. We’ll be back captain!!

Captain Derek took my wife and I out for a sunset sail on Lake Union and it was an amazing way to see a different side of Seattle - from the water. We learned how to raise the sails, sail into and away from the wind, and even skipper the boat for a while. Derek is a great host and happy to involve you as much as you want in sailing the boat, or let you sit back and have him do all the work. He's quite knowledgeable about the sites and history of Seattle and Lake Union and was happy to cater the whole experience towards our desires and abilities. The weather was perfect, the company even better, and we had a great time on this hidden Seattle tour gem. Highly recommended!

Seattle Boat tours was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. Derek, the owner, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We took our friends from out of town and it was absolutely the best way to take in the views from the Puget Sound, while sailing on a beautiful boat. I will absolutely use Seattle Boat Tours again and could not recommend them enough.
