Love this place, very kid friendly. We had fun making our own clay creations. The staff here is very helpful and knowledgeable about all things art.

When you go to do art there are a lot of ceramic pieces which you can choose from, of varying prices. You get to pick out the color glazes you want and paint the pieces. They will then fire the pieces and a week later you come back to get them. I've taken grandchildren ages 7-12, and they have all spent about 3 hours painting their pieces, and having a blast. You need to put three layers of glaze on each spot, and blow dry the piece to dry between layers, so it takes awhile. I wasn't sure how long it would take the kids, and smaller children would probably take less time, so I'd plan 2-3 hours. I also let them do 2-3 different pieces, so one piece would be of course quicker. Prices range from $5-30 dollars for the piece, which includes firing and glaze, and a $5 studio fee per person making something.
