It was a wonderful experience! Although a bit cold, they gave wetsuits (which I highly recommend ) and the hot chocolate was well needed. The manatee loved long hair so ladies don’t pull your hair back! It was weird having a car swim under you. Visibility ( probably due to time of year and tide)was not the greatest but we still saw everything. I will always remember what a great experience this was! I am so glad that I did this.

Crystal and Captain Mike were outstanding! Informative,professional and great company. The boat was great and snacks & cold drinks were offered. Swimming with the manatees was fantastic- crystal and Mike were patient to find the best opportunity to have a great experience. Thankyou!

We booked with River Ventures to scatter a loved one's ashes. They were able to accommodate the ten of us and follow government regulations. The office was very pleasant to deal with. We were in touch frequently about the weather, making sure it was safe to go out. The captains, Garrett and Mike were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. They were very sensitive to the situation. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely book them for future water experiences.

We booked during the summer season, a time when there are actually very few manatees around. Yet, we were fortunate enough to see a mother and calf up close on two occasions. The captain and guide treat the animals, the environment, and their colleagues from other tour operators with great respect. Even though the scheduled tour time was already up, they still took the time to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

We took the Manateee and Scalloping tour with Capt Bryan and Maliah. Both were very friendly and knowledgeable about the manatees, scalloping and things to do in the local area. This is our third trip with River Ventures and they are by far the best tour operator in Crystal River.
