Seafood restaurants in general have been criticized for disturbing the delicate balance of marine life, but Bamboo Sushi aims to change that. The restaurant adopts sustainable practices in everything it does right from ethical sourcing of seafood and meats to its energy utilization and recycling. The menu has a fine selection of sushi, ranging from nigiri and sashimi to their signature sushi rolls. Apart from sushi, there's an excellent choice of seafood specialties with delights like seafood charcuterie and geoduck saute. The limited meat selection is also a good bet if you're not a fan of fish. The bar has a great selection wines, beers and cocktails for all tastes. The specialty however, is the selection of sake and shochu; one of the most diverse in the city. Interiors are warmly decorated and the atmosphere inside is suited to casual lunches and formal dinners alike.
