Bought tickets back in July for a show in December that they cancelled 5 days later. About a week later, I got an email saying they would refund us by August 10th. Never got anything. I have reached out via email and message via their website 3 times and called a few times, but got a full voicemail box. I understand they are going through whatever issues with lawsuits etc but that doesn't exempt you from communicating with your customers.

Outstanding performances but seriously undermined by overpriced, uncomfortable seating with extremely poor sight lines to the stage. I paid $125 (seat G11) to have my view blocked by two thick wooden columns, No indication was provided in advance that I was purchasing a partial view (about 50%) seat. The public have a right to know what they are purchasing in advance, particularly at that price.

LHS is a must visit for anyone who loves music. Intimate and the sound is stunning. I encourage anyone to search for LHS, have a look at their lineup and make plans to attend a show. You will not be disappointed, a great venue in a great town

This venue is actually terrible. I have been to many smaller, intimate venues that do it right. They do not do it right at Levon Helm's STUDIO! It is a chill, come and go as you want vibe. That is cool, for sure. But it ends there and the drop is very steep.Overall, this is a recording studio. It's not a venue. I honestly do not understand how they have a certificate of occupancy for larger crowds. It feels unsafe if there was an actual emergency but that's not really my point. It's literally like going to see a show at a prison block. Everyone crowded around this little stage, hovering at it, trying to see and enjoy what's happening on it. Minimal sight lines for most of the crowd. No room for anyone. It's like sitting on an airplane in there.Even on the coldest of nights, they need to open the doors upstairs and need to run several high powered fans to keep the upper level somewhat comfortable for guests. Because of all the turns and corners in this tight space, there is security everywhere as well. If you try to dance at your seat they will tell you to sit down... felt like I was going to be removed from the venue for enjoying the show. You are allowed to have defined, controlled, predetermined fun at this venue. The staff to guest ratio is insane as they have no actual services. I think there's one 5 gallon igloo cooler for water, upstairs. They don't even have enough bathrooms. So pretty much the staff is there to do nothing other than keep you from having any fun at a concert under the guise of keeping you safe in this tiny, overcrowded, insufficient space. And on a side note - If you go in the wrong direction in the poorly lit parking lot, you could literally walk right into a pond.As a lifelong concert goer of all venue/genre types, I do not recommend this venue at all. Especially if you are neurodivergent in any way from tight space concerns to an individual, personal struggle. I gave it THREE chances before finally writing this review. This is not an all-inclusive venue.

How sweet it is to be so close and connected with a band. You've read it before, and I will echo the others. The Levon Helm Studios is a great venue for a show!Tickets are reasonably priced. Parking is plentiful. The place is clean. Acoustics are great. Most recently, I saw a band from Mali, West Africa, Habib Koite and Bamada. They were phenomenal. I trust part of the reason for a stellar performance is the venue itself. If other muscians who I know and love peform there, you can bet I will attend!
