Ew. Just ew. There was (what I’m assuming was) a prostitute literally bent over a bed with the room door wide open as I walked to my room after checking in. Drug deals occurring in the stairwell. People wandering aimlessly around barefoot and shirtless and smelling of straight-up roadkill. The room itself reeked of cigarettes. The bedding had multiple cigarette burns in it. Mildew all along the bathroom trim. They have a policy where you get a free refund within ten minutes of checking in. THANK GOODNESS, because I was back requesting my money back immediately after seeing my room. The manager tried not to give me my money back, but I stood my ground. Good riddance. Do yourself a favor and avoid this entrance to Satan’s underworld. Don’t be an unassuming schmuck like I was. I’ve stayed at great Econo Lodges before. This definitely was not one of them.

I stayed there while on business for the first time this month for 4 days and was very pleased with my stay very friendly and accomdating staff clean rooms great location I will definitely be staying there again!

Do not go here. They made 5 room keys none worked. They said will bring you a key that works later. Never happened. The ad says recently renovated. No way. The place was clean but not maintained, rust and no drain and a shower that would not work. The advertised breakfast looked so bad, I just walked out.

Driving late alone and wife called insisting I pull over. My fault for not planning. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Dirty and bugs! My dog wouldn't even take a bite of what they call grab and go breakfast.

On Sunday 4/4/2021 we stayed at the EconoLodge at 4709 Chambers Rd, Macon, GA. Around midnight someone tried to enter our room. It turned out the desk clerk assigned the room we were in to another guest. If we hadn't had the deadbolt on the person would have come right into our room. Totally unacceptable. Also, the room was filthy. The drywall in the bathroom above the tub had a huge gash & looked like the ceiling was going to fall into the tub at any minute. Needless to say we didn't take a shower. Also, I had spilled some water on the floor & when I went to wipe it up the towel turned black with dirt. The baseboard on the floor was old with several huge gaps in it filled with dirt. They also rented rooms a few doors down from us to dome undesirables who had a party going on until around am. This place was disgusting. Do not stay there.
