We always watch Woodsongs on PBS and on vacation traveled there and had looked forward to visiting in person. The crowd was quite small and the headliner was a banjo rapper--very disappointed! We will continue watching on TV and can turn it off if we don't like the talent,

Have attended many times. Had membership but due to family conflicts we go when we can! All types of wonderful artists , famous and not so famous but real talent and entertainment is the best. Love to go and sit back and be entertained for a modest amount. A asset to this Area.

Being on vacation and looking for something different to do at night that is entertaining that doesn't include a nightclub or bar, we found this hidden gem. This is a TV show that airs on RFD TV. There were two groups and a solo act. Each performed for about 15-20 minutes. It lasts about an hour for the show that airs, but the performers performed a number together once that part was over. We go back for vacation, I can definitely see myself doing this again. Will have to see about getting RFD TV so I can watch this show.

This was a. fantastic. find when. searching trip advisor for our trip to Lexington. IF. you ever want to see a. TV show being filmed this was a very easy evening. The Lryric Theater has very roomy seats. The night we attended there were 2 groups and 2 solo performers. I never listened to bluegrass before and this was very entertaining. There is. also a small concession stand that you can purchase the. general theater fare. Will certainly return the. next time we. visit Lexington. A. small fee and. only on Mondays

Wonderful eclectic music! I love that a young musician is included in each concert! We are all part of the music scene when it comes to Woodsong! And a big plus is that it is all so affordable!
