tripadvisorMy 8 year old used her own money for a dumpling, she opened it squeezed one time and liquid everywhere. Brought it back owner said wouldnt return or exchange because he cant resell. They are knock of dumplings and selling for $17.99. This guy is a ser and very very rude. Stole money from a child. After he denied an exchange which is what I asked the child running the cash register for I said I would be sure to leave a lovely review of his customer service which he then says I was going to give ypu another one but not now, you go! So yea watch out i would spend money couple doors down same products plus way cheaper and better quality and better customer service then the i love duluth store.
MoreWe recently brought a guest visiting from Australia to your store to purchase Duluth, MN items to take home as souvenirs. One of the items she selected was a pink and white T-shirt/baseball hat combination package labeled “Duluth, Minnesota.” After returning home—approximately 45 minutes away—she opened the package and discovered that the hat had “Minnesota” misspelled as “Minesota.” The T-shirt, however, was spelled correctly. We immediately contacted the store to request an exchange for a properly printed hat/T-shirt set. Although the employee initially expressed surprise, we were then told that all of the hats were misspelled. We asked if we could return the defective item for a refund, but were informed that the store has a no return/refund policy. When we explained that the item was defective and the error was not on our part, the employee became dismissive and reiterated that the policy would not be adjusted to accommodate this situation. We are requesting assistance in resolving this matter, as the product was sold with a clear manufacturing error and was intended as a meaningful gift for an international visitor.
MoreCrowded store with multiple customers with no mask on (no, they didn't forget, they did not have one), and owner not enforcing or wearing one either. Mask up Minnesota !
MoreOmg! I haven’t seen this many t’s in my life! Absolutely loved it. We got like 15 t’s and lovely lady at the check out gave us a discount plus each one of us got a free magnet which was simply nice. Great service. Among other tourist stores in the city me and my kids enjoyed this one the most
MoreEvery destination town has that one shop that sells generic, location based T's and Sweatshirts, this one is Duluth's. It's your basic hanes-quality shirt in virtually every color and size with a probably-stolen art design slapped on it. Most are rips on actual apparel companies, some are stolen artworks from local artists. The store itself is somewhat tidy, with shirts and trinkets stacked and plastered on every surface, the service is pathetic at best, I have been in the store a good half dozen times to look around and they have yet to greet me once. In recent years they have been accused by multiple local apparel design firms for stealing copyrighted design work, selling racist or insensitive apparel, and their only 'original' work is stylized heavily off of existing brands success. I'd give this one a pass, it's trashy and generic at best, there are better ways to support and represent this city.
