tripadvisorWe stopped by the gallery right after our train ride, but it was already closed. We called and left a message, but the artist did not call back until we had left the area. Peering through the window, the art looked very nice. Highly recommend you set an appointment if you want to visit.
MoreMy husband and I were delighted to spend time with Elizabeth and George, as we are huge fans of their iconic work highlighting the magic of the Smokies. We made a visit to the gallery a priority, and we’re greatky rewarded.
MoreI love seeing through Elizabeth's eye. She expresses nature and mountain scene as only someone who has experienced it. I have 3 of her prints and all the books she has illustrated.
MoreElizabeth has her heart in her work and her love of the land that she paints. She has a magical way of capturing the woods, water, flora and fauna of North Carolina. One look at her wonderful artwork, and I'm back. A piece of her artwork is now what I get to remember my trip whether I make it to her Bryson City gallery or not. A visit to her gallery is worth the trip, or visit her online.
MoreMy husband and I purchased a painting from Elizabeth's beautiful collection of artwork. I did not know anything about artwork and oil painting, and she was extremely informative. At first I thought I was talking to a sales person. I didn't realize I was talking to the actual artist. Elizabeth made us feel welcome and did not pressure us to purchase, but when we found the painting I wanted she did everything she could work with us in making sure the artwork was secure and wouldn't get damaged in transit (it rained all weekend).A very kind and talented woman, and we will likely purchase another piece when we return to Bryson City.
