We had an unexpected but thrilling encounter with an Erie encounter at Sink Hole. A hawk was perched high in a tree and something was watching us, it even startled the Hawk.

awesome place. quiet and very shady which the dog loved. paved walking trail for a brisk walk. even some fitness equipment for a quick heartrate boost.

This is a small hidden gem inside the city of Ocala. There is a paved walking trail along with a nice playground setup for the kids. There is a natural spring on the property. There are ample picnic benches with roofs over some of them. Public restrooms are in the middle of the park.

As avid Geocachers we set this site as find #2700. An EarthCache in every sense of the word. Having lived in Ocala and Gainesville for 14 years. I have seen many sinkholes but never this one. Score!

small park with walking trail . the day we went there were a few homeless people there , dirty and smelly . would not go back just not for us . fine for someone with young children under 10
