Reviews
tripadvisorWent there for a date night, but was a little hesitant because our instructor was the same Marie Gnesda that had a review here. Not sure what happened there, but we had an excellent time and Marie was awesome. Friendly, well spoken, described what clay space was all about, showed some example work from some of their artists, and then explained and helped both me and my wife create our own mugs. Group was 8 people total and everyone had a great time.We had an excellent time, and my wife was ecstatic. Couldn't have been a better choice for a date night. Highly recommend for a date night or if you want to dip your toe in pottery before committing to a longer multiple week class.
MoreI have never worked with clay before and I am having a ball !! It is freeing to have that time to think and try the different techniques. I am not an artist, by any means, but am very happy I decided to treat myself to it.Marie G is a low-key and very knowledgeable instructor. I saw the 1 star review before I signed up and still decided to take a chance. In my humble opinion, that 1 star review was not deserved. If that person was just there for a party, of course it wasn't a full-on class of learning, and nobody should expect a Demi Moore experience the first time. Get over yourself. As I said, I am having a ball!! I'm so glad I got involved with this and plan on continuing. RECCOMEND!!!Also, this is a real and true review. Come to class and meet me :)
MoreI was here with a group of friends for a fun evening, but the instructor Marie Gnesda was horrible to work with. She would make comments like, What are you doing? You are hopeless! She also would not let us keep what we made on the wheel but only the one we rolled out because she knew we wouldn't do a good job on the wheel...? Art should be fun and a pottery instructor should not be so unnecessarily critical. Find another instructor.
MoreGreat place to take workshops, bring scouts or take classes. Fun and supportive staff and great atmosphere with plenty of space to work. Lots of options for things to make too.
MoreI started coming to this place in February of 2017 for a special event and then I took classes for four sessions. I have now become a resident artist because there's so many great resources available and it's a great community of artists.
