We took the direct transfer from Whittier to Anchorage from the cruise terminal. Everyone taking the transfer checked in early so we were able to go through the tunnel an hour earlier. Even though it wasn't a tour, our guide Andrea was very informative and tried to spot wildlife for us the whole time. Andrea and Joe (the driver) went above and beyond to drop us off exactly where we needed to be and were extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this company for an easy and very pleasant transfer.

ACT does a fantastic job with transportation. This was our second time using them to go from Whittier to Anchorage. Four years ago we used them to go directly from the cruise port to the airport, but this time we used them for the full all day tour. There are many representatives for ACT in the luggage area as you disembark in Whittier, so that was easy to find. Our driver and guide was fantastic. He was always explaining something that we were doing or seeing. We made a stop at Portage Lake, the Wildlife Center, and the Mt. Alyaska resort with the aerial tram. We had a box lunch that was great! The only part that dragged a little bit was at the end as we stopped at various hotels to drop people off, but that was to be expected depending on where you are in the line of drop offs.

Used ACT Big Bus adventure shuttle from Anchorage to Whittier port. It’s a 1.5-2hr guided ride(with no stops on the way) and they did a good job. They sent several email confirmations and provided instructions on pick up points in advance. Bus was comfy and guide was knowledgeable. Made sure passengers are accounted for. Took care of checkin bags. Overall staff and service is good. Highly recommend!

Well… today didn’t go as planned. We learned that the owner and sole operator of the driving service we had booked from Seward to Anchorage had unexpectedly passed away. Our hearts go out to his family and loved ones.That left us scrambling this morning to find another way to Anchorage. A huge thank you to AJ and Katrina at Alaska Cruise Transportation (ACT)⁠ for going above and beyond to make room for our family at the very last minute. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation turned into a smooth ride thanks to his kindness and willingness to help.If you’re traveling in Alaska and need transportation, I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks again, AJ—you truly saved the day. ❤️
