Fishing was amazing I caught many fish with my family we also had a 2 foot catfish that snapped the line 2 times
MoreI found this lake by accident when my earlier plans were nixed and I was looking for things to do in the area. It was a gorgeous, spring day so I decided to walk around the lake. It was around lunch time, so other people were out walking too. Nice paved trail with one side made of a softer material. Saw a few people fishing as well. It was nice to get out and enjoy this beautiful lake.
MoreI’ve been coming to Savannah for work and have tried different places for my morning walk. I accidentally found Lake Mayer Park this morning. It’s about a mile and a half around the lake. There is a strip of softer surface which is great for running. Just before dawn it was well lit and a few people were out. It’s very well kept and scenic.
MoreWe stopped here to have a picnic under a nice shade tree. Beautiful lake with wildlife and people out and about excercising and just enjoying the beautiful weather. Everyone passing buy was friendly.
MoreNice walkways, nice scenery, plenty of shade and parking. We were in this park for a family friendly company event. Used a couple of picnic tables for a pumpkin carving party. Even the dogs had a wonderful time.
