I bought one item on sale and paid a lot for some unique candy but was disappointed to peruse Patagonia labeled clothes at extraordinary prices. That isn't in synch with General store vibe in my opinion. Where's the kitsch?

We ended up spending a couple of hours browsing through the store's different departments. LOTS to see. The candy section is in the back of the store on the main level and has a fantastic selection.

This brings back alot of childhood memories, from games to candies, that are not found elsewhere. I got d a set of real metal jacks and the pinkie bouncy ball to play. I got to teach my grand kids how to play jacks, and the open bins for pre wrapped candy. BY the lb can get you in trouble. Yes found types of favorites from elementary school thru high school, and my grandson found the real BAZOOKA GUM with the wrapped comic, he found so funny, I went back and purchased him what wound up to be 1.5 lbs. Of Bazooka bubble gum.Also we found yoyo's, tops that you wrap the string around and throw to ground and see how long it spins, those were so fun at 6 years old. It was fun reliving my you get tears and teaching my grands how to play , oh my chinese jump rope, had to rethink that one id forgotten how to do that

Just have fun browsing the odd and eccentric products -- the mainline stuff is nice, but the creative options (from candy bins to jarred foods and goofy socks) are more fun.

This store is awesome. It has a little bit of everything! They had some cute Birkenstocks. They have clothes, camping stuff and lots of gift ideas. They have lots of candies an snacks to choose from too. There are two floors. Old fashion store with great customer service.
