Exceptionally disappointed in Feb 2, 2023 ‘Science of Leaving Omaha’.PBD set and theatre was great. Storyline and performance was huge disappointment. Considering the work that many had to have contributed to this event one has to ask ‘how did this get released’?Not a professional critic, just your average occasional live theatre goer happy to see live performance returning. This was a bust. Many would have left at intermission had there been one. The polite audience stuck it out. There was no delay departing, however.

Always great quality productions, Enjoyable evening ,though I don't always like the choice of productions Never leave the theater feeling unsatisfied.

Palm Beach Dramaworks presents new and unconventional small plays in a wonderful small theater. The seats are comfortable with universally good sight lines. Small enough that actors do not need microphones, the theater could still benefit from a hearing loop system for those with hearing challenges. This was the second production for us. We liked the last one, this one not so much. Although we are totally in sync with the political viewpoints of the playwright of “Ordinary Americans,” we thought it was a weak, often tedious play. Nonetheless, we will gladly return. Art of all kinds challenges, pushes boundaries, and takes risks. Palm Beach Dramaworks does all of that well.

We saw the premiere of Ordinary Americans about Molly Goldberg and the red scare in the 1950's. Very well done and you can hear every word. Great intimate theatre and near several restaurants and public parking.

Had the pleasure of attending Palm Beach Drama works presentation of Woody Guthrie's music and history. It was well presented and very well acted. The singing and music was great, the Actors polished and proficient. It was very interesting to follow along the timeline of the influences that provided the stimulus for his music and writings. The seating was wonderful, not a bad seat in the house. It's comfortable and the sound well balanced. It was a great evening that will be repeated soon.
