tripadvisorI came to Irvine Spectrum, with my elderly mother, expected pleasant experience, unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. The bartender repeatedly ignored us. We all had to relay on the Bar back to serve us.I did speak up about the situation because I thought we were being completely overlooked. My mother and I should not have had to wait and feel ignored while sitting at the barI hope Management takes it seriously understand that every customer service should be acknowledged, treated respectfully and served with basic courtesyAnd I did speak to ManagementThis is for your owners and stockholdersI think the bartender and the manager knows who this is the seventh day at 5:30 with my mother look into it
MoreWe came the day after Thanksgiving and Irvine Spectrum was absolutely packed everywhere you turned! The entire center is already decked out for the holidays with a giant Christmas tree, sparkling decorations, and the ice rink bringing in all the festive mood. You can definitely feel the holiday cheer the moment you walk in. Parking was a whole adventure on its own. Even with the parking structure, it was a nightmare trying to find a spot. Luckily, we had dinner reservations and pre-purchased our movie tickets, so that helped keep the evening smooth despite the crowds. If you’re planning to visit during the holidays, just be prepared to deal with a massive crowd but the energy is festive and fun if you come ready for it!
MoreI went there and spent $20 on one small meal. Everything is hiked up beyond belief. Even the lemonades are over $5. It's absolutely unholy.
MoreI live 3 miles south of the spectrum so it’s very convenient and I’m here frequently! I enjoy that they have a wide and varied selection of restaurants here as I’ve been to most of them and most of them are very good! The movie theater is nice and convenient with parking nearby and while they do have a Nordstrom, it’s a small store with fewer designer brands. The spectrum center has many children and young adult type of stores, when compared to other malls around here. The only store I shop at here is Lululemon but I come here frequently for the restaurants and to walk around and get some exercise. Occasionally, I’ll come to the Apple Store for an appointment but the atmosphere is nice. They keep it very clean given the number of people that come through here and I think it’s very well run! Of course minus one star for the parking which is often full and you have to spend quite a bit of time looking! They do have one large parking lot, but I like to park on the other side.
MoreIrvine Spectrum is really pretty amazing. My favorite part is just walking and looking at all the people. One of the few major malls where all stores and restaurants are still open, vibrant, and active. Lots of things for all ages. Teens especially love walking and being seen here which excites my teen age grandchildren. There is enough parking but if you want to get in and out quick consider using valet service.
