tripadvisorJon Pickard of Connecticut is the architect behind this magnificent structure, which is the tallest building in the state of Oklahoma. Construction began in 2009, and was completed in 2012. We did not have time to take the elevator to the restaurant (next time!), but our daughter drove us around the block several times, plus, we saw it multiple times from afar. The visual impact it has on the entire City is striking. A true landmark.
MoreThis 50 story tower dominates the skyline of Oklahoma City and is the tallest building in the state. The relative flat nature of Oklahoma allows it to be seen for miles, saw it both from I-35 and I-40, over 30 miles away. However, it is more impressive from sites in town like Bricktown and the Myriad Botanical Gardens. I took several pictures of it from many places around town. I had hoped there was an observation deck in the tower, but I was told only a restaurant that is only opened at night. Still, it is a great building and you will be sure to see it on you visit to Oklahoma City.
MoreWent to a preseason basketball game with our 6 year old. We all had a blast! That’s all he talked about for days. There was a table there with workers that greeted him and gave him a pin indicating his first game. He wore it for days as well.
MoreWhat more can word say than to see this magnificent monolith is incredible. It is a true work of art.
MoreWe love the Devon Energy Center! It is very interesting. We like eating on the 49th floor at the Vast restaurant too! A great view.
