Extremely Disappointing Experience, Unexplained Charges, Missing Deposit, and Absolutely Horrible Customer ServiceI am beyond disappointed with my experience at The Residences on Siesta Key Beach by Hyatt. What should have been a wonderful stay has turned into an extremely frustrating experience. After checking out, I discovered an unexpected $180 charge on my credit card for a supposedly missing knife. I was never notified about this charge, never received an invoice, and despite repeatedly requesting documentation or proof, NOTHING has been provided. To make matters worse, I have also never received my incidental deposit back, and no one has explained why.It has now been almost TWO WEEKS, and I have made numerous phone calls, sent emails, and contacted Hyatt corporate multiple times. Not a single person has taken responsibility or provided a resolution.I spoke with Gary at the property, who assured me he would take down my information and have a manager contact me. That never happened.I also have an assigned corporate case representative, Jessica Brown, who has been impossible to reach. Every single time I call, I am told she is either in a meeting or out to lunch. I have repeatedly requested callbacks, yet I have received absolutely NOTHING. At this point, I genuinely question what the purpose of having a corporate case representative is if guests cannot get a response. For a property associated with Hyatt and charging premium rates, this is completely unacceptable. I should not have to chase down management and corporate for almost two weeks just to get answers about money taken from my account. The lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability is shocking. I have been more than patient and have given both the property and corporate numerous opportunities to make this right.Almost two weeks later, I am still waiting for my incidental deposit, an explanation and proof regarding the $180 charge, and a single meaningful response from management or corporate.I strongly caution anyone considering staying at this property. A beautiful location does not make up for terrible customer service, questionable billing practices, and a complete lack of accountability.Hyatt, this is absolutely unacceptable. Your guests deserve better.

The place was magnificent and the service was great but the Sargassum seaweed and love bugs really put a damper on our ability to fully take advantage of the property and the beach. I had wished the hotel would have cleared out the seaweed ( like public beaches do) and removed the bugs so we could have enjoyed any of the outdoor amenities like the pool, fire pit, our balcony, the outdoor game room etc.

We had such a marvelous time at the beautiful Hyatt Residences at Siesta Key beach. The spacious unit had three bedrooms and two of these rooms had gulf front views. All rooms had very comfortable bedding and large bathrooms. The kitchen was impressive since it had all top name-brand appliances, which made cooking a joy. The outdoor premises included a clean lovely pool, a hot tub, a fire pit, high-end BBQs and a pristine white sand beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas, which were always set up by 7 am. The sunsets from the balcony were a breathtaking ending to each sunny day. Can't say enough about the staff who worked hard to make our stay comfortable and so enjoyable.
