Locally produced food - within a 60 mile radius of South Bend. Most of our producers use organic growing methods. Those that are not certified organic use sustainable growing methods for our area. Value added food is all produced within the same radius. Meats are all hormone- and antibiotic-free and ethically raised. We have an online ordering system where you can learn more about each producer. And our distribution times are a great opportunity to meet with the producers and learn more about how your food is produced. Since we are a membership-run Co-op we have other opportunities to learn and contribute to our local sustainable agriculture system - potlucks, volunteering, farm tours, to name a few.
