I took my 3 kids to Bonkers for a fun morning last week - it was my first time getting all 3 kids out of the house since having a baby 6 weeks prior. My older two kids have loved Up and Away in Lawrence so I thought the play maze looked similar and that it’d be so fun for them and bonus that it’s in Topeka and I don’t need to drive to Lawrence - I was wrong. Both of my children had feet get stuck because the webbing of the play place had multiple broken spots throughout. There were also multiple duct taped spots. My oldest could get her foot out herself, but my second child climbed to the top and her whole right leg went through a hole. She was crying so hard and there were no workers anywhere. (They were all in the front office.) My baby also was hungry so my 3 year old and baby are crying while I have to climb to the top of this maze to get the 3 year old unstuck. As a side note, the arcade games are all at a high volume for their music and the lights are super bright.I gave them 2 stars because they did give me my money back, although I think I’m being generous since never did an employee apologize for what happened or check to see if my daughter was okay. They also did not mention that they would fix the issue.

Great place to pass some time on a Saturday morning with a two-year old. Overall, the areas were safe and free from clutter. Recommend the melted cheese sandwich. Plenty of sitting room for grandparents.

It’s fun but can get expensive if you play the arcade games and buy food/drinks for me and my 10y/o it was $7 for him to play in the play zone and I was free, of course I played too and it was so fun the big slide was my favorite! Food and drinks were kinda expensive-we ordered cheese fries a water and some spooky drink for him it cost $14 and then spent easily 50$ on arcade. We would go again

Bonkers has renovated since our last visit, and it was a much more pleasureable experience this time. Watching the kids in the two story climbing play space was fun and there was booth seating for family to sit nearby and watch while enjoying something from the snack bar. There are also plenty of games for the kids which give tickets redeemable for prizes. This is a low cost fun activity for kids, especially when the weather is right for being indoors.

This place has had a facelift since we last came! The gym area looked much cleaner, and there were a ton of new games. Only drawback was that it was a tad expensive.
