Very cool spot- loved the ambience and they did an amazing job repurposing the building. First time visit even though I have a place in the area and have been coming to Hudson for years.I would come back for an art installation/event/ festival but never again to see a band.Went there recently for a concert which I was excited to see but the sound quality was HORRIBLE- could barely recognize the songs. Not the bands fault-they rocked! but this facility is NOT meant for concerts- too loud, too much reverb -sound balance off- obviously place is not set up for professional concerts. They offer ear plugs- maybe that was a sign.Caution if attending a concert here - you might be disappointed. Classical or acoustic music might be ok, but not a rock band.

I can not find anything nice say about this place. There is no kitchen so the event calls for an outside caterer. The breakfast the next day, the recommended caterer quit and if the family did not call they would not have known a week before the wedding. The food at the wedding was God awful. The band was horrible. Don’t wear heels for it is difficult to walk around the grounds. There is NO air conditioning. The bathroom was not clean.

Enjoyed a wedding celebration with family and friends. Cocktail hour outside was lovely. Used a small room for the ceremony and it was lovely. The main room was decorated and it looked amazing. Service was great!

We attended a wedding & reception there on Passover/Easter weekend. The Basilica is a reclaimed industrial complex that houses a smaller hall, and a large hall where the reception was held. I am not completely sure that they have all the bugs figured out yet regarding live music, as the large hall seemed a bit too boomy and echoy. Let's face it, a huge main hall, with a soaring ceiling and brick walls does not lend itself to concert hall acoustics. Some sort of sound dampening would help that out. All in all, this is a great venue and I can only see it getting better.

there's nothing like this place. the building itself is breathtaking, and the programming and now well-established annual events are entirely unique, brilliant and brave. SUPPORT THE BASILICA if you are the least bit interested in the arts, sustainability, and visionary institutions.
