I had a lovely afternoon at exhale spa while traveling. My facialist, Isabella, was so nice and did a great job -- my skin felt great and it was so relaxing. I really enjoyed the spa's amenities--sauna, hammam, lounge--and appreciated the sense of quiet and calm.Side note for plus size people: they have larger size robes available on request and the sauna towels are very long for wrapping around yourself. It's nice to feel like you aren't clutching the robe shut, especially in the co-ed areas

Just had a 45 minute flow massage. The massage itself was lovely as was my therapist however, the whole experience was let down massively by the reception staff and in particular their attitude. Firstly the website states the massages are 60mins not 50 as she told me they now do (noting mine was 45 mins). Secondly the website is giving out of date prices so rather than being charged $200 I was charged $220....apparently the website has the old pricing. Next they applied a 20% tip as standard which is unacceptable, if its standard then its a cost not a tip! I should have at least been asked if I wanted to give a tip and chosen what I thought the service was worth! Next when I queried all of this, the young woman was curt and utterly unapologetic for the misleading information and the fact that I was obviously disappointed. Clealry this spa trades on the fact that alot of its custom is transient from hotel guests. What a shame as the hotel itself is very nice and the staff very helpful. I use lots of spas when we travel and sadly would not recommend this one!

The technicians (massage and facial) were great but the number of things that were out of order was unacceptable for the level of service this spa advertises itself to have. First off there were no lockers available, they were all broken and waiting for the replacements. Kind of a pain to take belonging/valuables with you for services. Next the LED facial light was broken. This was a promotion on their website, a freebie if you booked a facial. Next, but maybe the final straw was the complimentary hot beverages machine was broken. Not a big deal on its own but add them all up and I thought for the level of service and price for those services they advertise it should have been better managed. Again, everyone was very friendly, this falls on the management of the spa. I wouldn't go back.

I’m a local and literally live next-door to the spa. I received a gift card for a big birthday and was looking forward to a massage. The good- my massage therapist Khandii did a good job and the front door Staff were knowledgeable and friendly.Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.The massages are pricey to start with and I was happy to be able to use my gift card. Upon checkout, I was told that because they had a promotion I couldn’t use it. A gift card is as good as cash and this should never happen. When I questioned it, I was told that sometimes they offered discounted gift cards so they didn’t accept them if they had an offer. So let’s punish the recipient! I was considering becoming a member but this will never happen now.In addition, they add the 20% gratuity onto the bill which I find annoying, but I understand and fortunately I liked my massage. However, after I received my confirmation email there was an additional 5% facilities charge? Huh? To get a 50 minute massage? Are they trying to pay for the renovations?Save your money and go elsewhere. There are many other facilities in the area that offer the same services and don’t try to rip you off.

I have been a patron of Exhale for years, taking classes and using their spa services. Over the years the venue has been aging and things are falling apart. The showers aren't hot and the amenities in the locker room are basic (lotion, mouthwash). The hammam is lovely - if it works. I kept going because there was a wonderful massage therapist that I went to regularly. The final straw is that my two last massage appointments were canceled on me. The first time, I went and was informed that my massage therapist Suzanne, had left Exhale. I took the day off from work to go, and no one at Exhale bothered to call me and inform me in advance. No apologies or anything. The hospitality at the front desk has definitely gone downhill over the past year in particular. Most recently I booked a massage appointment over the phone as I wanted to use the rest of a gift card I had and it seemed you couldn't book them online anymore. I received an email today my appointment had been canceled. The best part is their email template makes it seem like I cancelled. No one could have freaking called?! Hey, at least they cancelled in advance of me showing up. Now, I have a remainder of a gift card I'll never use.Don't waste your time or money on this place. It's a shame, because it used to be great.
