tripadvisorOnce again, an experience that I do not want to try again. Poor customer service, maintenance issues, housekeeping, bare minimum.Shampoo dispensers, all were empty, empty, steam room, supplies, broken lighting, not allowing to dim lights in a spa. Can you imagine the lights turned on bright like as if you were at a football game horrible! Lighting is imperative they should know better at a spa. The supervisor indicated that the dimmer is broken, unable to dim lights. Don’t have the lights on then do something different and also by the way, never tell your customer the real problem try to make them unaware of your lack of maintenance. The massage was fantastic, but I feel sorry for the individuals having to work in a subpar situation. They will not have repeat clients at this rate.Definitely not something I would like to sit and perform every day, which is sad. It should be something that draws you in like you want to have a massage go to the spa every day…The supervisor indicated that we are unable to wear our robes to the pool? What do you expect when you have wet clothes they actually came over and said we were not allowed to wear our robes outside of the spa headed to the pool after a snack. Customer service poor massage therapist fantastic! Something needs to change.
MoreI recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Spa Bonatica, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with their service. I had booked an appointment over the phone, and it quickly became evident that this spa has the most unprofessional service I have ever encountered. From the very beginning, the issues started. When I tried to call Spa Bonatica to inquire about my booking or to reschedule, I found myself stuck in a never-ending loop of unanswered phone calls. They never seemed to answer the phone, which left me feeling incredibly frustrated and helpless. What made this situation even worse was the complete lack of transparency regarding their cancellation policy. When I initially made the appointment over the phone, not once did they mention that there was a cancellation policy in place, let alone that I would be charged 100% of the service if I failed to cancel. This lack of disclosure is not only unprofessional but also unfair to customers who are unaware of these policies. My frustration with Spa Bonatica reached its peak when my child fell ill, and I had to cancel my appointment. I promptly reached out to them to explain the situation and kindly asked if I could reschedule without incurring any charges. However, they proceeded to charge me 100% of the service fee, showing a complete disregard for my circumstances and the fact that it was not a choice to cancel but a necessity due to my child's health. The entire experience left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. Not only did Spa Bonatica fail to answer their phones, but their lack of transparency and unwillingness to work with customers in challenging situations is truly unprofessional. I had hoped for understanding and flexibility, but instead, I was met with inflexibility and an unsympathetic approach.I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Spa Bonatica, especially if you are booking over the phone. Ensure that you fully understand their policies, or better yet, consider exploring other establishments with a more customer-centric approach and a commitment to professionalism and understanding. My experience with Spa Bonatica has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth, and I cannot recommend their services based on my unfortunate encounter.
MoreWe celebrated a friends' birthday with a large group spa day. I've been going to Spa Botanica for years, but man - has it changed. It used to be a luxury-type spa - customer service AND treatments. The staff was not super friendly and had some communication issues w/ our group and their services. The massage I had was great and the therapists really do a great job, but the front desk could use some extra training on being nice to the guests.... even a smile goes a long way.
MoreFound the spa staff to be very poor at accommodating a hotel guest during my stay. Call before I left LA. Checked in to hotel checked with spa for services only a 30 min foot spa on one day then in my last attempt for Monday before departure. No services available. Sad. Heard there is another spa across the street.
MoreWow. I was very impressed with a Meredith and the incredible 75 minute facial I had at Spa Botanica. I was here for a golf tournament and had a relaxing time here at the spa. The fact it’s located inside Embassy Suites was a plus. Only problem was the steam room wasn’t very steamy. I’m still glowing from that facial 2 days later. Meredith had magic skills and knew exactly what I needed. Thank you!!!
