I love the funky folk art. I bought some pieces as gifts. This visit i had the opportunity to meet the artist. Great place.

Much smaller than expected from pictures on Atlas Obscura. Neat artwork and displays from someone with something to say. A couple of questionable images/slogans that some could find offensive.

Cool Art by Dr. Bob. It's a nice gallery and studio. The gallerist was very pleasant and we ended up buying two pieces of art and they shipped it back home to us.Overall a cool stop; you will enjoy it.

To think we almost missed this gem! We walked into a grocery store and commented on a cool sign over the register. The owner said, “Oh, that’s Dr. Bob’s. His gallery is around the corner. You should check it out”. It was such an experience. Dr. Bob even smiled for a picture…he’s not much of a smiler!

This gallery is in a large warehouse like shed, and it's filled with funky folk art by Dr. Bob. If you've spent any time in New Orleans, you've likely seen Dr. Bob's art decorating buildings and restaurants throughout the city. His upbeat folk art style is fun to view.
