Phayul Himalayan Restaurant ·$$

Exotic Tibetan smells and flavors grace the small confines of this restaurant. With a slight influence from neighboring India, the dishes are mildly spiced. Meat-centered and well-flavored, Phayul serves specialties such as Chicken Thenthuk, the Shak Trak, a beef and vegetable preparation in a spicy broth, the Mgoe Ma and of course, steamed momos and dumplings. An unconventional salty buttered tea is a good pick as well, especially if you're a novice to Tibetan cuisine.
