The Old Town of Lansing is one of the most culturally vibrant ones with several art galleries dotting a small area. A number of graphic artists and artists from visual and performing arts have been attracted to the old town area since decades and nothing has changed ever since. Old fashioned bars and watering holes run by friendly locals, complete the night life scenario. Community events, workshops, concerts and exhibitions are a dominant feature here, pulling in crowds from all over. Call at 1 888 252 6746 for further details.

tripadvisorMichigan culture comes alive. Vibrant streets, stores, and people. A must when you visit MI state capitol or the MSU campus.
MoreMy sister and I thoroughly enjoyed Scrapfest. Old Town has so much to offer and is very walkable. So much art and lots of options for eating. Unique shopping too.
MoreWe had not been to Old Town for a while, so we stopped Sunday afternoon on our way back to Grand Rapids. I was surprised by a lot of the hate for law enforcement and disregard neighborhood safety. Some retailers had signs with profanities aimed law enforcement. Not a good environment for kids or people that respect each other. Bought popcorn and got out of there.
MoreThis is a fairly small area, but with pleasant local shops and we had great weather for a walk on the boardwalk. It takes less than a couple hours to see everything, and have google maps take you to the parking lot for Brenke fish ladder, there is an app (passport) but parking is less than $1 per hour.
MoreI took my 15 yr old little sister here for the day. We had so much fun walking around, exploring shops, and getting yummy food/coffee!
