Perhaps it was due to the end of the summer season, but this indoor market (open Fri, Sat and Sun) did not have much to offer me. On the lower level, accessible from 3rd Street were about 10-12 vendors of locally produced items (some handmade) and a coffee/breakfast place. On the upper level were a few stores. I don't want to judge this place too harshly because it might be bustling in the summer, but today there was nothing much to see.

This was really a strip mall with a lot of closed stores, not busy at all. We went early in the day since our goal was to see the graphics on the 1964 earthquake at the eastern end of the building. It was very interesting and helpful to see on maps, etc. It's a very quick stop but worth taking a look. Also tried to go to the Two Spirits Gallery which is supposed to have carvers and artists working on-site every day so you can watch them. However, not allowed in to see and it was a really rustic-looking, messy shop so it's not likely it would have been worth it anyway. But, go for the earthquake info and you won't be sorry.

A lot of open air stall with locals selling their wares. While interesting I personally like visiting more traditional shops. I feel the quality is better in the shops as is the selection. Exposure to weather which changes rapidly is another drawback. Folks are nice and priced vary shop to shop.

Good place to shop. Need to add more up to date stores for all age groups. Need to add a larger variety of places to eat.
