My adult daughter that is 20 that has a disablility was at the mall during a monday afternoon with her boyfriend and had to use the restroom so they went into the family handicapped bathroom, weren't even in there 2 minutes and security was banging on the door telling them they couldn't use the bathroom. My daughter has Myasthenia Gravis as its none of their business and is just relearning how to walk after 7 months of not walking at all!! Staff needs trained on disablility laws!! Just because an adult male goes into the family restroom with a female doesn't mean they are up to bad things!! (This is what security told me) male/female can't go into any bathroom together. Caretakers are not always female to female!!! She told the female security guard that pushed the door open and about hit my daughter with it because she was washing her hands that she is disabled and needs assistance with things, she didn't care and told them they had to leave. She then walkied her security buddies that they were compliant with leaving. It is sickening the way disabled or handicapped people are treated! Not every disability is visible!!

Jordan Creek Town Centre is an incredible and huge shopping mall in West Des Moines. A great food court and many retailers make it worth a visit. A lakefront boardwalk and a movie theatre round up an amazing experience.

The mall was very busy. Our favorite was the massages in the center. Well worth every penny. We found some good deals to take home. I like the store near the massages that sells naughty socks. We just enjoyed the afternoon in the mall. Recommend

Has some great stores out here. I have better luck here than most other malls. Only downfall is the people on lower level that try and get you to buy their stuff even when you ignore them and keep walking.

Had a lovely day shopping with my daughter. Clean and has pretty great stores. Enjoyed lunch on the patio at PF Chang's.
