We went to Tempe Center of the Arts to see A Very Hairy Javelina Holiday, performed by the Childsplay Acting Troupe. My expectations were superseeded. Thinking it would like the Three little pig story, the adaption was brought to a higher level. The actors sang, danced and performed for the audience as well as any theater group could. Kudos! If you have children or if you want to revert to a childhood for a moment, give them the opportunity to entertain you.

While not at all the targeted audience my mom sister and I enjoyed seeing the books we love so much put to life on stage. There were a surprising number of adults for each child in attendance and the actors did a great job engaging the audience. I was impressed that families were sent home with questions to discuss the play on their way home.
