Yes, it’s not the Ritz, it’s DOD lodging. That’s why the cost is reasonable and the room clean and efficient. Recommend springing for the VOQ suite at $77 as it comes with all the amenities of a Marriott or Hilton, but half the cost.My room had fridge, coffe maker, microwave, sink, desk, flat screen tv, in addition to the usual.Would stay here again

The customer service is very horrible and so bad. They have all these stupid unwritten rules for reservists and you may not get a room at all. There is a lady named Corey who is so sassy for no reason. She always tries to make room booking so hard for no reason. It is ridiculous. The rooms itself are great especially bldg 1 and 2 but Corey can give you rules about getting a letter from your 1st Sgt in order to get a room which is totally ridiculous. Because there are no 1st Sgts around at 4pm and that means no room. Those stupid rules need to stop. As a reservists who drills every weekend and who drives 3hours to get on base, I don’t need to go through all that to get a room.

Have stayed here several times while visiting family in the Boston area. Rooms are nice. Suites are great! Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Must have a military ID card or a sponsor to get access. But, the pricing beats anything on the outside if you are looking to save some money.

This in on Westover ARB and requires a government ID Card to gain entry. It's not bunk beds but It's not what you expect from a hotel room. Remember when you were in the military and the sergeant asked your opinion? He really didn't want to hear it! Same goes here. As much as the guest book and their e-mails say they want to know about anything and everything... Just keep your mouth shut and be glad they let you stay there for the night. There are two classes of rooms - Visiting closet rooms about the size of a railroad car and visiting officer's which is much more extravagant. Weekends are tough to book if reservists are drilling on base. Best to call as their website is often turned off. Visiting Airman Rooms are Spartan - 1 chair, one light next to the bed, overhead light, maybe a towel rack, (usually not). WIFI will be issued to you if someone decides you need it. (Attempt at humor) Cell reception for at least Verizon is zero to half a bar but you won't be calling your friends to brag about this place. If you have a deep desire to relive your military days as lowly airman then sign up for an enlistment (I mean room). Officers quarters are more expensive but at least you get a second chair and a lamp on the desk. This is best for someone traveling solo or you're looking to break up a relationship. Ice and laundry machines are free and you're plenty safe sleeping with the US Air Force guarding you at night.

So, I will begin by saying this was my first visit onto a base, and the only thing I had as a point of reference was what I have seen in the movies...so I was expecting bunk beds in a really large room....However, this turned out to be exactly comparable to staying at a Fairfield Inn (a Marriott brand hotel). The rooms were nice and spacious and comfortable. Granted the tv is about 15 years out of date but whatever I have a laptop, iPad and phone! The bathrooms were large and the only thing it was really missing for me, was vending machines (which perhaps I just didn't find)! Surprisingly upscale for military housing (again I had no point of real life reference!)
