I just want to say that Mr. Akeem Walker never called me back after he stated that he would for my financial assistance request. I know that this church does not owe me anything and I appreciate the wonderful service that was provided for my aunts funeral However to be promised a call and now its 2 months later NO follow up No denial Nothing after my several voicemails and attempts to contact this church is beyond me. Everyone except Mr. Akeem Walker that promised to call me back was helpful! In summary I received the run around the entire encounter and im not sure why they have on the website stating that they offer assistance but no one at the church has a clue how the process works. Seems like a fake tax write off scheme. I do not recommend this church due to leadership failure to communicate and to be honest.

The Luke Church is AMAZING. Very friendly and welcoming. The leaders speak on relevant topics and draw you in with passionate preaching. They also have teen service and children services. You will love it!

Invited by friends to attend. Tried it for a month. Nice atmosphere, great choir. That's it. i was entertained. Very little bible, heavy Christian cliche's. Lead Pastor, Sloan very arrogant, rehearsed and scripted - no authenticity. Seemed to be phoning it in. Associate (forgot name) was solid, good preaching, excellent foundation. Would return for choir and guest preacher only

The service is always spirit filled and exciting. Pastor Sloan is the best on the planet. His sermons are always straight to the point and bible based. Pastor Riley is so inspired and full of the Holy Spirit. The choir singing is lovely and beautiful. The church is so spotless. My daughter loves the children's church and she always says what a wonderful time she has there.

Every time I attend I go in expecting a word. That's Exactly what happens. It's like they send out Flys (fly on the wall). His messages always manage to Pierce my heart.(in a good way). I always leave encouraged. Pastor is Always on Point!!! In my mind I just want to touch the hem of his garment. As the story is told in the bible. Instead I simply reach out and touch his blessed shoulder as he exits. My Pastor Sloan in turn just looks at me and smile. I haver never felt slighted by him or anyone else there. Praise God for The Luke..
