Thank you for your interest in the Fort Worth Suzuki School, the preparatory program for violin, viola, cello. We are currently accepting new applicants to the program and would love to have the opportunity to tell you more about our music school. Violin, viola and cello instruction is offered for students of all skill levels and ages, using both individual lessons and group lessons. Our school subscribes to Dr. Suzuki's philosophy that talent is a skill which any child can learn given the proper instruction by both teachers and parents. All students are accepted as long as the parents are willing to commit to helping their child succeed. We have found that a child's musical success and enjoyment is directly dependent on the parents' help and participation. The type of parental participation and time commitment will vary depending on your child's age and maturity. To ensure that there is a full understanding of the type of obligation involved, parents are first asked to come to the school and observe both private and group lessons. After completing the observations we will schedule a time for a short interview and consultation with the program director. This will give you an opportunity to ask questions about the music lessons we offer. Contact the program director soon with a list of times available for observation opportunities.
