tripadvisorWent for an anniversary gift with my significant other but couldn’t be more disappointed. The boat was broken down leading to just as waste of time for the day.
MoreNot recommended not worth the price and extremely boring the captain was mean and demanded a tip at the end
MoreTerrible price not worth the horrible experience save your money! Excursion was not the allotted time as promised then we were asked to leave a tip for bad service.
MoreMy charter experience was very disappointing.First of all, the boat was quite small and unclean. I was told I four people could be brought on the charter, but I was glad it was just my girlfriend and me. Another two people would have been too cramped, and I honestly I would have been embarrassed to have brought more on.Second, the captain brought his girlfriend along with him on the charter. I originally signed up for the charter as a 1 year anniversary experience with my girlfriend, but it turned out being an awkward double date. We couldn't really move about the boat, because the sail was almost at head level while we were sitting .Our captain was nice enough to talk to, but the whole experience came off as very amateurish. It felt like we were just on some guys boat rather than a charter from a company we paid good money for (300 including tip). This experience hasn't turned us off sailing, but we will definitely look elsewhere if we want to do this again.
MoreWe had a scheduled charter bad experience most boats were broken down out of five only three were sailable and the one we took out was late in staring and then broke down while motoring out/ Not sure what hey mean by certified captain's ours was a young man that admitted he just completed learn to sail lessons late last years and was learning to be an instructor. Instructors there had different opinions about sailing on telling other how to sail. They claim to have great boats and instructors but I found that far from the truth
