tripadvisor3 times here saw Samanth fish. So easy in & out it was rediculous! While other venues do resale tickets with over an hour getting in the last few mile & long lines getting in. My 3'rd time seeing her so ya I'm a 69 y.o. groupie male. Also saw Grahm Nash here excellent. Pat Methenny was good but not as good as the other 2. Need a guide I can help. End seats on lower balcony upstairs are great. Google berkshire food Co op & there's parking down there couple hundred yards from theater it's free. If you have a foam cushion you Bring good for here for us older folk. Plenty of good eats close by. Steakhouse 10 next door is a sponsor never tried. Menu up in price some & limited. Nothing like tanglewood but driving & walking in is a chore plus tickets are starting to go more to the secondary market so when a good show pops up at this alternative theater it's a treat. The Italian place a short distance west on the rotary is a reasonable place to go. There's also a little castle in town that could use rehab that was a fun spot to stop on a motorcycle ride back in the days. Joan Taylor Shaw my next treat here.
MoreFirst time at this venue to hear a classical musical performance. Built in 1904 and hosting events ever since, the theater is now listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Beautifully restored in time for its centennial in 2005, the space has excellent acoustics and is intimate and lovely inside. The gorgeously restored marquee is a thing to behold - day and night. Currently show movies and live performances of all types, drawing top caliber talent from NYC and beyond.
MoreAverage entertainment. Older stage and seating, quaint, they do have a variety of shpws for everyone. It is nice to have such a place in town.
MoreA stylish small, local theatre. It’s big enough to feel like an event to go there, but small enough to be intimate. The staff are helpful and it was fun to go there.
MoreThis fine old theater seats 650 people and has a wide variety of performers. We saw Natalie Merchant give an intimate acoustic concert and a performance of Don Pasquale by the Berkshire Opera Company. This is a wonderful place to see a performance.
