Nice area for hiking, biking or kayaking. Rented some E-bikes and rode across the river. So close to the city but felt so far away.

Barton Creek trail is an amazing place to visit year around but mainly during the hot summer days. The cool water running from the springs in the south toward to City of Austin Barton Creek Pool is very refreshing and fun to jump in. parking is available next to the entrances, even though might be limited during the weekends. Good places to eat near by sure add to the fun event.
