tripadvisorThe exhibits are beautifully curated and everyone is very nice. I go every year during the Lexington Junior League Show to see what has been changed. Stay to watch the video, it is magical! The gift store has a ton of great gifts.
MoreThe American ad n Saddlebred Museum is a MUST when you visit the Kentucky Horse Park. It sits right outside the pedestrian entry - signage is spare and the grounds map doesn’t highlight it. But don’t miss it.The American saddlebred is the only pedigreed American horse and this nation would not be what it became without this marvelous horse. The museum is comprehensive with detailed explanations of this wonderful five gaited horse. The museum is intimate and welcoming. If you don’t know horses well — start here before the International Museum of the horse.it provides a more detail discussion of a horse and its qualities that the I-museum expends upon
MoreWhile at the Junior League Horse Show, I took the time to visit the museum and it was the highlight of my week! The history and artifacts were so cool to see.
MoreThis place only had some art but not artifacts we were expecting, as it was being remodeled. While this is fine I feel like the price should have been lower as there wasn't much to see. There were some statues, sketches, and paintings, and a gift shop area. I guess we will have to return when it's fully open.
MoreThe Saddlebred Museum was being remodeled, so we didn't get to see much of it. Should be wonderful when construction is over.
