This is a truly lovely and upbeat area. Shops, restaurants, movies, library. And did I say really good restaurants. All nice and walkable.

I recently visited Shirlington for the first time and absolutely loved it. It’s really walkable and definitely pedestrian centric. There are a lot of different restaurants as well as a movie theater and library. A very cute area with some nice shops.

The Village at Shirlington has dozens of good restaurants and stores to visit during a calming stroll. Watch out for the cars that drive too fast for this pedestrian neighborhood! First visit to Best Buns; delicious!

Festive walking neighborhood with a wide variety of choices of restaurants. It's also home to the award winning Signature Theatre. Shirlington, now updated and trendy, was one of the first shopping centers in the Northern Virginia region.

Shirlington Village is perfectly situated at the borders of historic Alexandria and Arlington Virginia, with Washington DC just a few miles away. This very tiny but quaint village has over 20 excellent dining establishments along with a national supermarket, AMC movie theater, apartments, library, hair salon & free underground parking!
