tripadvisorCalled made reservation for wife and I on a date day. Called ahead to confirm. All good. Got there they said our reservation was a month away. Wow. Who does that a month away. Poor management. They said we're sorry. So am. Would not go there if my life depended on it.
MoreI am a spa manager (private) from Georgia and am very particular....was very hesitant to go here based on reviews...convenient to our hotel and not alot of options available on short notice. Check in was very professional and helpful...her name was Heather. I received a 90 Minute Massage and Amber was amazing!! Perfect pressure in just right places. Overall experience was great and not disappointing! Give them a shot. I was impressed.
MoreNEVER purchase a gift certificate from this Massage Envy on Richard Jones in Green Hills. My elderly mother, who lives in another state, bought me a gift certificate for two (2) massages back in March (2016). I had one shortly after she gave it to me for my birthday. I just called to schedule the second and was told that my gift card was expired because, you'll love this YOUR MOTHER WAS COMPLETELY AWARE that it was only a gift card for a 3 month membership. The audacity to insinuate (when this Manager wasn't even the person who spoke to my mother on the phone nor was she the person who sold it to my mother over the phone) it was a gal named Elizabeth at this massage Envy who sold it to my mother and was very nice. My mother even sent her a Michael Kors purse as a gift for being so nice to her when she sold her the gift card for me for my birthday, since my mother was calling from out of state. I was repeatedly told, your mother was aware it was for a 3 month gift card. I spoke to my mother, who is FURIOUS, she reconfirmed what she said. My mother called and said, I would like to get a gift card for my daughter to have two - 90 minute massages. Bottom line is that even the manager who repeatedly found it necessary to make my mother wrong in the conversation was incredibly snobby, who from the minute I was transferred to her and had to go through ALL my information and problem again - Even if she was wrong, a. how do you as a manager make it right for your customer? b. How do you so flippantly not care that you will lose customers? Is business that good for them? c. I asked her, is there anything you can do or are willing to do for me, the Manager told me I cannot un-expire anything (boy, do I have a feeling THAT'S NOT true, and when I asked, again, so is there anything you can do for me, yes or no, she said NO. I work in Management in Retail and know how hard it is every day to hit your monthly goal numbers - to keep get new and keep existing business. I'd NEVER let my customer hang up the phone until I MADE HER HAPPY and develop a relationship with that person to make them a Forever customer. BUT I suppose it doesn't matter to Massage Envy and the Massage Envy on Richard Jones Rd, in Green Hills, if they provide the services or NOT that a 70+ year old woman spent her money on - my mother gave them their money, so they figure, well if you don't use it within 3 months, it's your loss, we've already been paid. WHAT A BUNCH OF THIEVES. When I had the first massage, I was NEVER told you need to have the next one within 3 MONTHS or believe ME, I would most definitely would have. However, I wouldn't have been able to anyway because I suffer from an autoimmune disease called Urticaria in which covered most of my body for 3-4 months.(feel free to look up severe urticaria and the pain associated with it, and tell me you can have a massage) I should not have to explain my personal medical history with this person or company. Perhaps a note from my Rheumatologist would work. What's even more ridiculous is that I am not trying to use a gift card that was given to me years ago, nor even last year, but WITHIN THIS SAME YEAR, IN THE SPRING. I am NOT asking for something that hasn't already been PAID FOR. I will be continuing to let everyone know about this on all my social accounts, with all the business bloggers and media outlets, social and business circles, Green Hills Chamber of Commerce, Green Hills Alliance, Nashville Concierge Association, all people I have strong relationships with for my business as well as the charitable and business boards I sit on, in addition to just the very prominent people and business owners here in Green Hills and Nashville overall. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
