tripadvisorDon’t stay here if you want to be greeted with a pleasant staff! The front desk Catherine seemed to be having a very bad day and was very unprofessional. I was very surprised that the Hilton would keep this type of staff employed. We have stayed many times at hotels across the country and have never been greeted with such a poor unwelcoming attitude. There are so many other wonderful choices of hotels in Tulsa! This is not one of them.
MoreVery rude front desk person (Catherine) treated me like a homeless person. Told me I was trespassing when I was the only person in the lobby doing some computer work and demanded I leave the hotel grounds now. Then she proceeded to shut my computer screen and grabbed my computer bag and took it outside then returned to further demand I leave the hotel. This was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I am a salesman and from time to time need a hotel lobby for a few minutes to send a customer an equipment quote and have been doing this for 20 years but this is the first time to be literally kicked out of a hotel.
MoreHeaded home we needed to break the trip up, so we looked for a place in Tulsa. Trip advisor listed this Hilton Garden in and it was in our price range. We've stayed in this brand before and were pleased with the stay. After traveling for 9 days we were kind of done exploring and just rested. The room was spacious and clean. The bed didn't sleep bad. We napped a bit then went down to the lobby for an alcoholic beverage and a meal. All was good. The soup could have been a bit hotter for my taste but was delicious. Our bartender made an excellent margarita. Loved the soap and shampoo but not a fan of the brand of coffee in the room. JMO. Would definitely go back.
MoreIt was a nice comfortable, clean room. The hotel was quiet. Very convenient to restaurants. This hotel was only about 15 minutes to the airport.
MoreVery outdated. Blanket between the sheets and comforter was ripped in several places. Paint scratched off tge bathroom vanity. Hard mattresses. No continental breakfast. $3.00 small-sized candy bars. Not much to like here for a $169.00 King bed.
