This hotel is spectacular. I was there for a conference, held at the hotel, and every aspect of the stay was outstanding. It started at check-in. Every person I interacted with at the front desk was so polite and professional. They are so welcoming. So were housekeeping, the bellmen, the ladies at the rooftop and beyond. Every time I walked down the halls or in the lobby, someone from the hotel said hello with a smile. The rooms were excellent. It has to be the best shower I’ve ever seen. The water filter was a really nice touch. Plenty of room, especially considering a typical Manhattan hotel. Location was great. Everything in Lower Manhattan is walkable. Just look out for those ebikers!Special shoutout to Christopher and Solomon at the bell stand. Angie and the hostess at the Rooftop (I wish I knew her name!). Poor front desk service, my television didn't work and the engineer never came. I couldn't get the water to shut off. I wrote the hotel and there was an explanation from their side - not the way to handle things. The decor - beautiful. The service - NOT. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Today is an exceptionally special day for our family. My husband has been battling kidney cancer, which prevented him from joining us in the U.S. earlier. Today, after three long months apart, we were finally reunited right here in New York.​Choosing Conrad New York Downtown for my husband, who is still recovering, was truly the best decision we could have made. In advance of our stay, I had requested a microwave in our room to help prepare meals for my husband and our children. Mehdi from Housekeeping handled this request with such warmth, genuine care, and kindness!​Not only did Mehdi ensure the microwave was set up perfectly, but he also surprised our children with sweet gifts, filling our room with so much joy and happiness tonight.​Reuniting with my husband on our very first day in NYC was already the happiest moment for us, but Mehdi and the Conrad team created a memory that our family will cherish forever. Mehdi’s wonderful sense of humor—even greeting us in Korean—instantly made our entire family his biggest fans!​We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Conrad New York Downtown team, and especially to Mehdi, for going above and beyond.
