I received a gift certificate at Christmas for Essentials Spa and was excited to try it out. I mean, who doesn't love a massage! However, this is one experience I don't wish to repeat. I was guided to a room by the therapist and given instructions for getting on the table. When she returned after a few moments and I was on the table, she told me it would be a relaxing/swedish type of massage and if I wanted any pressure, I could have as much as I wanted for $10 more. I opted for the regular as I didn't wish to pay more. I also commented that I liked less lotion as opposed to more and her comment to me was, most people have dry skin and I will use as much as I need. Not exactly what I would call customer service oriented. Needless to say she used quite a bit of lotion that was unusually greasy and I had to go right home and shower it off. I read the brochure of the business before making my appointment and they advertise for a 1 hour massage, but when you get there, you find out it's for only 50 minutes. Additionally, my appointment was for 12 noon, started at 12:15 and concluded at 12:55, so I really got a 40 minute massage. That was really upsetting! I can't speak for all the therapists at this business, just the one I had, however, that was enough to deter me from going again. I much prefer the small office with 1 or 2 therapists where you get a real 1 hour massage. Much quieter and relaxing then having people moving in and out of the waiting room and much more customer oriented.

I absolutely LOVE this place!!!! Ask for Patrick, the very best massage ever!!!!! The environment is beautiful and clean. New ownership and a great location!
