Macleod's Fish & Chips Scottish Pub Bar & Pub ·$$

Experience a wee bit of Scottish flavor at Macleod's Fish & Chips. Located in the Seattle suburb of Ballard, as with most historic buildings along this strip of Ballard Avenue, it exudes loads of charm. Inside, the menu not only offers delicious fish and chips, but you can also find a full slew of top-notch whiskeys. For those who wish not to imbibe upon the warm, water of life from Islay or Speyside, the bar still has traditional cocktails. In solidarity with the Southerners from England, the kitchen serves British favorites like Bangers and Mash, Shepard's Pie and Chowder.

Great place to get fish and chips among other Scottish food. I highly recommend scotch egg, it was very, very good! Ambience of the place overall was great, I highly recommend and I will come back.

We dropped into Macleod's for a bite before a show at The Tractor Tavern, and it ended up being the perfect choice for a pre-concert meal. There are a variety of seating options from open bar,...

Ambiance is wonderful, especially on a cold day. Food was also solid. We liked the shrimp tacos the best, ironically (since not Scottish). Happy hour is even on the weekend. Service unfortunately...
