Mestre Karina - Bayfront Park

Bayfront Park is a stunning green space encompassing the FPL Solar Amphitheater and Tina Hills Pavilion. Throughout the year, a fantastic range of events, including concerts, fundraisers, yoga classes, and more, take place in this picturesque setting. It's not unusual to spot celebrities and rock stars lending their voices to various causes here. Spread over nearly 32 acres (12.94 hectares), the park offers breathtaking views of the bay and Miami's iconic skyline. For children, the Bayfront Park Playground provides an enjoyable space for a fun-filled evening.

David T. Kennedy Park

Beautifully positioned against an open bay, this is a refreshing park where visitors can relax and enjoy the waterfront setting. Besides offering superb views, David T. Kennedy Park has a range of recreational amenities such as a free outdoor gym, a running track, a beach volleyball court, and a kids area. Here, dogs are permitted on leash with two separate dog parks for smaller and bigger dogs. Just adjacent to the park, you can visit the lemonade truck to recharge with freshly made lemonade.

Matheson Hammock Park

Matheson Hammock County Park is a 130-acre (254.95 hectare) beach park, located to the east of Fairchild Tropical Gardens. Here, you can picnic, sunbathe on the quiet beach, or explore trails that wind through thick mangrove hammocks. The park also features an artificial lagoon where you can enjoy a day collecting shells. Boating enthusiasts can launch from the park's marina into Biscayne Bay. The park's restaurant serves lunch and dinner.

Peacock Park

Open from dawn to dusk, this ocean-front park is beautiful! Located right on Biscayne Bay, it was the former site of the Bay View Inn (later Peacock Inn), founded by Isabella and Charles Peacock from London. Created in 1934 as the Coconut Grove Bayfront Park, it was renamed Peacock Park in 1973 and sits surrounded by the bay, Barnacle Park, Coconut Grove Library, and the marina. The heart of the Grove, this park is the venue for many events, from concerts, sports games, and art festivals to Symphony Orchestra and Grovetoberfest. The 9.4-acre (3.8-hectare) area includes a baseball field, basketball court, tennis court, playground, and skatepark.
