A genuine passion for authentic Indian cuisine drove award-winning chef Alaksha Surti to bring Curry in a Hurry to life. Alaksha grew up in Bangalore, a large city in southern India, and was influenced at a young age by her mother and grandmother's cooking. After an extensive and prestigious career in the culinary arts, she and her family settled in Raleigh to bring the joy of good food to the Triangle. Today, Curry in a Hurry offers a carefully curated menu by way of our storefront, food truck, and through catered events. Everything is made fresh and with authentic ingredients -- that means, every bite is packed with the flavor quality our customers have come to expect. We serve up traditional central Texas style barbecue! All out meat is smoked on large offset smokers using all wood. We have a meat market style ordering where you can order meat by the pound, but we also have various plates available for purchase as well! See you soon!
