Two leading candidates for Golden State's assistant coaching vacancies

It was announced Thursday that two of Golden State 's assistant coaches, Terry Stotts and Jerry Stackhouse, are departing from the franchise after their contracts expired. Both Stotts and Stackhouse were with the team for two seasons.

Following their departure, the Warriors have already been linked to a few possible replacements. One is eight-year Warrior and four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala . Iguodala has yet to coach in the NBA but has been consistently linked to a position within the team.

Another possible option is former New Orleans Pelicans head coach Willie Green. Green spent 12 seasons in the NBA and even worked as an assistant under Kerr for three years following his playing days.

Given their ties to the franchise and its players, these two are both logical coaching choices for the Warriors' front office.
