Yanolja’s subsidiary rolls out AI-powered concierge system for hotels

Yanolja plans to scale the system across Thailand

Global travel technology company Yanolja has launched an AI concierge system developed by its hospitality-focused subsidiary, Yanolja Cloud Solution (YCS).

The launch follows a trial phase conducted across more than 1,000 hotels in India.

Following this initial deployment, the system is set to expand into Thailand, Malaysia, and the US, as well as various African markets.

According to Yanolja, the hospitality sector has increasingly turning to AI tools to manage repetitive operational tasks.

YCS estimates that a hotel with around 25 rooms typically spends up to eight hours a day handling routine guest communications.

This includes tasks such as reservation queries, check-in and check-out processes, and room service coordination.

YCS CEO Aeijaz Sodawala said: "As AI reshapes the hospitality industry, hotels are looking beyond automation to intelligent systems that can execute operational tasks and elevate the guest experience.

"Our AI concierge brings together specialised AI agents, real-time operational data and deep hospitality expertise to simplify daily operations, empower hotel staff and deliver more seamless guest experiences."

According to the company, the concierge tool developed runs on a multi-agent framework involving eight specialised AI agents working together.

These agents cover core functions such as guest communications, reservations, check-in and check-out, housekeeping, room service, payments and upselling.

The system is directly integrated with the YCS property management system (PMS). This integration gives it access to live reservation and room availability data, enabling it to carry out operational tasks rather than simply respond to guest queries.

Guests can interact with the AI concierge either via WhatsApp or a web-based guest portal.

Through these channels, they can confirm bookings, complete digital check-in, request hotel services and make payments.

When human assistance is needed, the system can transfer the conversation to hotel staff in real time.
